Day Two: Final LIVE 1.10pm AEST on Red Bull TV


The 2016 final of Red Bull Cape Fear will take place at 1.20pm AEST LIVE on

James Adams, Russell Bierke, Koby Abberton and Ryan Hipwood will face off in a combination of paddle and tow waves in the one hour final.

Day two of Red Bull Cape Fear, with a revision back to our original format of paddle and tow kicks off at 10.40am AEST.

Here’s how the event will go down today;

  • Based off yesterday’s heats James ‘Rooster’ Adams (due to Justen Allport injury) and Russell Bierke progress to today’s final
  • Best two waves (paddle and tow) from today’s two four-man heats will progress to this afternoons final and face off against Russell Bierke and James Adams to crown the inaugural Red Bull Cape Fear champion.

Due to safety reasons, Red Bull Cape Fear 2016 will be closed to spectators, however the event will be broadcast LIVE and free at Ensuring safety is always the event’s number one priority; the site does not allow organisers to safely accommodate large crowds, while also protecting the integrity of the environment. All other areas of the National Park will remain open for visitors.
